What a steal!

Since Noah wakes up early no matter what day of the week it is, we've spent a few Saturday mornings garage sale-ing lately. It's amazing what some people are giving away!

The city hunt on Saturday was CHILLY, but fun


and they had a cool petting zoo!


Later that evening, Noah "met" his littlest cousin Samuel up close and personal (they've met before, but from a distance).


Sunday morning at Grandma's house.


Aunt Susan and Popo were able to come in for the weekend,


and Aunt Susan got to help hunt eggs.


Noah also enjoyed the big-boy swing in Grandma's yard.

Name that Bug!

It took us a long time to realize these were NOT hummingbirds. They act like hummingbirds, they fly like hummingbirds, they eat like hummingbirds, they're almost as big as hummingbirds, but they're definitely not birds. I'm thinking some kind of moth. Do YOU know what they are? Do tell!

I've never seen one in quite this much detail, since they're VERY fast. Luckily my camera is a bit quicker than my own eye.

UPDATE! Do you think they look like this?

Turns out they're named..... (drumroll please) .... hummingbird moths! White-lined Sphinx Hummingbird Moth to be exact. Click the image to link the article I found after a 3-second google search.
